I LOVE this film... anyone else...

This is the only film starring Van Damme I'll probably watch again (maybe also Universal Soldier).

The atmosphere is amazing. The slow motion action reminds me of being chased in a dream by something scary and you can't get away fast enough. The score is haunting and dreamlike and Fender is just an awesome bad guy.

Maybe seeing it as a kid added to the feeling of fear and dread but I still love to watch it all these years later.

(Plus it has the best use of splits used in a film)

Nope, it was a bit steaming pile of godawful trash (and not the good kind).

I hadn't watched Cyborg for 20 years but having re-watched it recently, felt it was a decent and enjoyable movie. My second favourite Pyun film behind Sword and the Sorcerer.

Cool.

Very enjoyable movie. A scary villain, an impressive troop of henchmen, decent performance of Van Damme, great fights, a desolate location which added greatly to the post-apocalyptic athmosphere.

I was pleased to see Ralph Möller (Gladiator) in this film (he comes from my hometown). Though he meets a gruesome end at the hand of van Damme.

Cyborg came out when I was 14 and I went to the cinema 12 times!!LOL so at least 10% of its gross is down to myself. :D

I still really like this and am watching it right now, great little movie, one of the muscles' best. Funnily enough van Damme's 'in-house' producer at the time strongly advised him against being in this, but i think he made the right choice by ignoring that advice.
After this came Kickboxer and I was sold 100%, van Damme or bust! :D was;'t being a teenager great? :-)
