"Always" vs "Ghost"

Funny. I saw both of these ghost/love stories in the same theater with the same girl about a year apart I guess, but I never thought about comparing them.

I pick Ghost by a mile. It wasn't great, but it was entertaining and surprisingly moving at times. Always was just a mess.

Now which is the better song? "Unchained Melody" or "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes"?

Ghost is better and I was never a huge fan but there's no question which movie is more iconic

I love them both, but I prefer Always. It may be because I'm older, and Ghost feels more like a teenager movie.

Ghost by a country mile.

Plus Ghost made a way bigger impact in the cinema. I remember a packed house with people crying at the end of Ghost.

Always is where the cracks for Spielberg started to show and his tendency for schmaltz
