Lark Voorhies admits feeling "slighted and hurt" when she wasn't asked to join the Saved by the Bell reboot

Voorhies said on The Dr. Oz Show that her mental health struggles might have played a role in her not being asked to join the Peacock sequel series. "I have to admit I did feel a bit slighted and hurt when I was not invited to be part of the Saved by the Bell reunion as well as other cast members' events, yet of course, I also realized that having this puzzling disorder may have played a major part in that factual decision," she said in reading an excerpt from her diary.

I had not heard of this. I would rather watch the original show than a sequel where the original cast are teachers or parents of a bunch of teenage kids.

I don't think she feels anything. She's so obviously being coached to say everything she says in that clip....

I do feel bad she wasn't invited, but no one knows if she is really doing well and a studio is not gonna want to deal with it.

Probably true.

She ended up doing a cameo.

I haven’t seen It yet. Was she in present day or flashback?

reply

A few flashbacks and one present day cameo. She did good for the little spot she had. Seemed just like Lisa was back.
