Why did they stop showing police footage at the ending credits after Season 8?

I thought it was great seeing the police footage at the ending credits of the early episodes.

I don't know. They probably decided it was cheaper not to include it.

I liked it too when they showed footage at the end. They even showed more of the last segment at times too.

I noticed that most of the clips on the ending credits from Season 8 weren't part of the episodes you previously saw (especially the Buffalo, Albuquerque and Orange County episodes).
