Sensual Scenes
Did anyone else think for just one moment that the scene with Dracula and especially the Marquis De Sade was extremely sensual and erotic? *Fans herself* Wow!

shareMuch to my suprise, yes!
I hadn't seen this film since it first came out, and I didn't recall much about it. At first I assumed you were all just nuts, please forgive me.
But upon rewatching I must say, wow. Amazingly hot.
"Rock is dead! Long live Paper and Scissors!
And here I thought I was the only one. I loved the Marquis de Sade scenes!
shareYes, yes. Waxwork is a gem to me anyway, but those scenes are pretty hot. Deb Foreman rules. Is it just me, or in Waxwork, does she look nothing like she did in Valley Girl? I couldn't even believe it was the same actress at first. See for yourself. She's a chameleon.

LOL, I thought I was the only one, too. I first saw Waxwork on cable back in '89, when I was a tender 16, and I was completely turned on by both the Dracula and MDS scenes. Chalked it up to teenage hormones later, but nope, saw it again a few months ago on cable, and those are just really sensual scenes. Others here are right, though, all the bad effects and sad attempts at comedy made this a pretty bad representation of '80's "horror". The scenes of the waxworks are the only saving grace.
BTW, Quills is an excellent representation of the Marquis du Sade's work and life...I highly recommend it.
So, whatever happened to Zach Galligan? He kinda disappeared from the big screen after this, it seems.
I just watched a recent update on an entertainment show about Zach Galligan, apparently he is teaching acting somewhere in New York these days.
