Where can I find the soundtrack?

The soundtrack for this movie seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth and I REALLY want Roscoe's Rap. Anybody have any suggestions?

The soundtrack, as far as I know, is long out of print--I got lucky and found mine in a used CD store years ago. And yes, Roscoe's Rap is on there.

If it helps, it was released on Island Records in 1988, before they were swallowed up by the WEA conglomerate merger in the 90s. The catalog number is 7567-91030-2. I don't know how much that would help, but if you're trying to order it overseas or something, it might help.

Oddly enough, the 2001 DVD reissue includes a bonus one track CD of the Swanky Modes doing Ordinary Man. Why they picked this song is beyond me--they could have included the whole soundtrack...

lol. i was wondering the same thing. "Babydoll" always gets stuck in my head.

sorry no help here. But check out Fishbone. They are an underground ska/funk band from the eighties and are still around. They composed the soundtrack. It may give you a taste of the sound on the film.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I have this on vinyl. I got it for the Devo song Babydoll but I never saw the movie. I HAVE THIS ALBUM FOR YOU.

Wait, does it actually have Baby Doll in Swedish? I've got the original English version on the "Total Devo" album, but I didn't think it was on the soundtrack. Seems like I even looked at it a few times (used to manage a record store in the 90s.)

Wow, posted that over 2 years ago right? I have the VINYL in hand and it actually has Baby Doll sung in Swedish by DEVO. I never knew there was any interest in this film or soundtrack. Thanks for asking. I'm playing it right now for you. What's on your Ipod? 'DEVOLUTION FOR THE MASSES'.

I had no luck on eBay, but I did find a couple on Amazon. Used, and prices start at over $40. Mine should be here any day now. Now, I know I'm gonna find one in a used CD store or a garage sale after spending that much.

PS Did anyone catch at the end of Pulp Fiction where Samuel Jackson says "Let's go to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles" after they've dealt with the Wolf and cleaning up the mess of the dead guy

dunno if you mean a fan of chicken and waffles, or of tapeheads, but roscoe's is a real place...and they really serve chicken and waffles. it's prolly more an l.a. craziness reference.

Man, I lost my copy years ago. When I saw "Tapeheads" in Boston they were giving out copies of the CD and the movie poster. Had them for years but they ended up floating away....
