Who Else Loves This Film's Soundtrack?

I still think it's one of Hans Zimmer's most innovative and least characteristic scores. It feels completely like any score being made around the 1980s, and I love the Sisters of Mercy-sounding Las Vegas track. Once again, not the type of music you'd expect for a prestige Oscar-contender (and indeed a big-time Oscar *winner*). And there are some superb, and eclectic, songs used in the sountrack, including Savuka's Scatterlings of Africa, Bananarama's cover of Nathan Jones, and The Belle Stars' Iko Iko.

Agree with you on this. A daring, innovative and moving soundtrack to be sure.

Right with ya! I love the music in this film, it perfectly compliments every scene. Great film.
