this movie was the most important thing in my life as a child, yet as i got older they kept releasing more and more sequels (aren't they on 27 or something?)
and each one was worse then the last until this original beautiful movie that should be ranked in the top five children movies of all time was buried underneath a avalanche of @$%&
Personally, I dont mind the sequels. That is until after the 6th movie.

Now I see how lucky I have been. I rented this in the early 90s when I was a kid and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I knew there were sequels, but I could never find them (small town in small country). Then I just forgot about it all, until today. For me I still only remember the great first movie. Think I'm gonna keep it that way.
