Am I the only one that wanted to club Cera when I was little?

On one level, I see where you're coming from, but I think she's an interesting character.

I mean, yes she's arrogant and bratty at times, but I think that's partly due to the way her father raised her. Also, they're character flaws and they add depth, she's not perfect and that's why I think she's a great character. I like her for her determinism, you have to admit she gets stuff done, she's just too proud at times.

It creates character depth and plot conflict and it wouldn't be the same without her.

I never wanted to club her, but I would definitely would have wanted a word with her father for misleading her on what was right and what was wrong. I feel it was more from her parent that she became a bit of a bully and a snob, with daft advice like 'three-horns never play with long-necks'. Cera was just a naive child that was incredibly misled, IMO.
