Michelle at the end

This is a SPOILER for anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet!!!!

All right, this has been one of my favorite movies ever since I was little. Even though I've seen it hundreds of times, I still get so sad and angry when Michelle dies at the end. She is my favorite character in the movie and her death always seems really unfair and tragic to me. Does anyone else feel the same way? Also, in this rumored alternate ending, does anyone know if she still dies? Even though I do feel this way, I don't think the movie and its ending would be quite as good if she didn't. It's sort of one of those tragedies you need to bring a film like this to an end...

Harrison Ford doesn't rush when he carries her, so I'm guessing she is definitely dead.

yeah, when i first saw this movie i was really pissed off! i really liked her character! i saw this movie for the first time a few years ago, but i completely forgot about it until i saw it a few weeks ago, and then i started to remember. i remembered that ending too. yeah, when i saw michelle die i was really sad and pissed off. she didnt deserve it, and i really liked her character! and it seemed like harrison ford didnt really give a *beep* he didnt really try to save her. even though it pisses me off, i do think that it works. i agree with you. i think she was my favorite character too.

she didnt die. theres a sequel coming. the return of dede

Yeah totally agreed. Firstly, it was sad on a level where I enjoyed her character and think she was by far the best in the movie. Secondly, it kinda took away from the happy reunion between Ford and his wife in the end. They were like "yeah, haven't seen you for a few days, nice to be with you again over this young girl's corpse".

Otherwise enjoyed the movie albeit the "one big plothole" mentioned in the IMDb forum as well.

No. She had to die. Pretty heroic way to go for a dirty hoe. She should be thankful.

I own you.

You must be trolling to suggest something so stupid. Michelle was more a courier than anything.

...and a drug addict. And with drugs come many things.

I own you.

I agree with that.

I didn't feel the least bit sorry for her and her death fitted in with the self-absorbed character she had shown herself to be throughout the film. She was a drug mule/smuggler more interested in getting another payment than helping Walker get his wife back (a situation she'd contributed towards and to which she seemed oblivious about most of the time).

If she hadn't been greedy at the end again, she'd have lived.
