Why she did it

Never seen this film, not interested. I remember the case at the time, who wouldn't. I was 14 and we were at Ayres Rock camping. I believe she was post natally depressed and stuck camping at Ayres Rock. It's hot, it's very hot and the baby won't stop crying. Michael is off being the social butterfly that a church pastor likes to be and is shirking the responsibility of childcare to be left to the woman. It would be a nightmare with a new born to take care of out in the desert. You see a dog sniffing around for food at the campsite and you've just killed your baby because you couldn't take the constant crying. You lure the dog over and it takes the dead baby away. A dark moment indeed, but you're in that place where tragedy and reality have become intwined and there is no going back. A dingo's got my baby you scream. He knew she did it, that's why they got a divorce. If not then he would have supported his "innocent" wife. The procecution knew she did it, everyone knew she did it, but it was impossible to prove. There were incorrect theories like she killed the kid in the car and there was blood. That evidence wasn't valid. People do get away with murder sometimes. The really cunning part is the truth is a dingo did take her baby. But that was only half the truth.

Hey, fluff :) . . how are you doing? In no particular order of unease, here's my response:

You can vote.
You’re permitted to drive.
You may give birth to children, AND take these children home.
You may feed these aforenoted babies anything you think appropriate.
You have access to knives, to electricity, and to various sharp objects.
When you speak from within a crowd, some will listen.
You can care for animals with little or no surveillance from creature protective services.

All that aside, your freedom is, I am sure, of no greater threat to mankind than any other fanciful eater of bumblebees.

You have GOT to be kidding right? You have GOT to be having a lark... obviously you don't "remember" it TOO well. What you have just stated is a load of absolute bull Sh*t, and, you have not read/researched any of the details that are now public knowledge:

The witnesses, the trackers, the fact that Lindy was surrounded by people all the time, there was no blood on her, no motive-- no mother, especially one as loving and caring of her children would ever do that to their child. She was besotted by Azaria, and she was a bit disappointed when her second child was born a boy, as she and Michael so badly wanted a daughter. (What you suggested, her feeding Azaria to a dingo is lunacy. What you suggested was complete garbage and uneducated rubbish) Her other two children were loved and never came to harm--ever and both she and Michael finally had the baby girl finally that they had dreamed of. Michael was hardly being the social butterfly. They were both with another family the whole time during the incident. Other people heard the baby cry out from the tent while Lindy was at the barbecue we KNOW this. She had been gone less than a few minutes and the tent was left unzipped, and she was no where near the tent when Azaria screamed out. Lindy was never found to be mentally unwell or unfit or depressed. The pediatrician and doctor who delivered Azaria confirmed this in court, and just watching her you know. She was a loving and smart lady who was villified because people love to fabricate/gossip blow things out of the water,.

There is volumes of things that could be said here; the matinee jacket they accused her of lying about, the one Azaria was wearing and was not found with the rest of the clothes; that was FOUND years later, the DNA evidence that was bungled, the police corruption, and lying...evidence going "missing" in the hands of Police...they were out to get her from Day 1, because they did not like her demeanor. The policeman RUINING the scene of the baby clothes by PICKING THEM UP up and re-arranging the jumpsuit...hence the rumors "Dingoes don't leave clothes in a neat bundle..." well the family who found the jumpsuit before alerting the police knew it was not found in the way it was later photographed...

You have no idea what you are talking about. And might I add Azaria was NOT crying, she was asleep. and it was know, to be FREEZING that last.... absolutely freezing, dropping well below zero, and getting colder the longer she was missing. You trollop.

Hey moron.

The daily maximum temperature in Alice Springs on the 16th August, 1980 was 17.6C.

Even if it was 5 degrees hotter at Uluru, that makes it a blistering 22.6C.

I call you out.

You were not there!

Of course he wasn't there. He's just another armchair "expert" attention-seeker.

As you infer the movie fairly accurately gives a good idea of the cool evening temperatures the desert around Uluru experiences in August.🐭

Sounds like you got something there Fluffchop. I agree I think she totally had something to do with her child death. Her demeanor speaks for itself.

No weapon.
No motive.
No body.
No witnesses.
No other evidence.

She must be the only murderer in modern western society convicted without any of these existing.
