Do you think she did it?

While I was reading the news reports, I completely believed that she was innocent. And then I found this quote that she made about Meryl Streep.

"no other actress would have been able" to play her better than Meryl Streep."!!

I know that it's not much, but I mean COME ON!!! Your daughter is taken by dingos and eaten. You get charged with the murder, go to jail, finally released and all you can think about is the fact that Meryl Streep is the only person who can play you decently in the movie about what happened!

If I were Lindy, I: would move somewhere else, change my name and try to start a new life. I wouldn't want a movie being made. It's like a constant reminder of what happened. Unless you're guilty and you can't help but feel some accomplishment because you got away with it.

Yes, I think she killed her baby.
I remember reading about the case when it happened, and I have never changed my opinion on her guilt.

A dingo, my a&&

I was a small child when this happened but remember the story being all over the news and adults discussing it endlessly. A friend of my parent's once were claimed that a dingo has never taken a baby/child before. My eight year old self quickly responded That there is a first time for everything. Of course I was dismissed because I was a child but history has proven me correct, dingoes have killed a number of children, including a 12 year old boy. Dingoes are amazing, majestic creatures but they are wild animals.

Now I am an adult with kids of my own and I have taken them camping, in tents, even when they were babies, to both Fraser island and The Northern Territory, you just have to be careful and aware. People are definitely more cautious about dingoes now than they were in 1980.

Yes, I think they caused their child's death. Maybe there wasn't enough evidence to convict them, but they acted extremely suspicious. A piece of clothing found years later proves nothing. They could've left the dead baby near the dingoes.
