Umm the nudity

Is it just me or is the nudity at the beginning of the film really unnecessary?

The film itself is generally harmless and has some nice attempts to teach morals for the whole family.
However the brief yet strong female breast nudity at the beginning really pushes it away from the younger audience.

And yet the film doesn't really go far on that area.
The closest thing is the handj0b scene at the basketball game and if it were toned down and had a little bit more over-acting, it would have fitted nicely for PG audience.

I don't know, I just felt it was a missed opportunity for a wider audience.
Not that it didn't succeed at the box office. Looks like it was very profitable.

And good bit with Samuel L. Jackson!
I didn't know he was in this and was very pleasantly surprised at his part.
It was relatively early stage for his stellar career.

Funny, where I am the nudity didn't effect the rating, it's only rated M (equivalent of PG-13) for language, otherwise it would've been PG.

Lot of bare breasts in 80's films. This film is not unusual for an 80's film. For it to be a PG film it would have to be severely edited, as mentioned before, lots of F bombs.

Gratuitous nudity is a John Landis signature.

Check out *beep* Flanders did you lose your care bears video stupid Flanders?

Personally I think the film could have used a bit more nudity.

that was some of the weirdest sht I've ever read about this movie. As another said, "Did we see the same movie?"

Nudity was there to show how luxurious of a lifestyle he lives. Any straight guy would have little problem with that life.

Also, a ton of 'f' bombs and a constant focus on sex makes this a movie not for kids. You do realize Murphy played multiple roles in this.

I can't believe you would even want an Eddie Murphy movie toned down. Have you seen his last string of movies?

You should watch "Raw". Great stuff. still stands up.

 me.

Eeek, a nipple!

Someone get the American into safety, before there is permanent damage made to his fragile little mind!

Why do people make such a big deal about nudity? Jeez, it is a movie not real life. God, there is just way too many complainers.

Rated R Horror movies are better, no matter the argument.
