Adam's lack of knowledge of Night of the Living Dead. Seriously?

Maybe he just doesn't like horror movies?

No, he's exactly the kind of guy who wouldn't have seen "NotLD". He's a straightforward go-getter kind of guy, who is very into his relationship with his wife, and his biggest indulgence is his fondness for the quaintness of small towns and old-fashioned decor. He shows no sign of a nerdy side, much imagination, or any interest in the fantastic.

The sort of guy who'd prefer action movies to horror, and maybe the occasional romance.

I mean I know quite a few women and men who aren't into movies. In fact I think the movie makes that clear since they seemed to have an old TV in the attic and no VCR.

The world is full of people who have never heard of things that you like.

I know a number of people in that age who have never heard of Night of the Living Dead until I mention it.

Really unbelievable: I know someone who was born in the early seventies had never heard of John Wayne.

There are people out there - even in our Western World - who are your age, grew up like you and have absolute no clue who the heck Han Solo is. And you think, people - especially before Zombies finally hit mainstream with Walking Dead.
