Does Oliver Stone comment on Sean Young in the DVD commentary?
I've always felt sort of sorry for Sean Young...who's kind of a beautiful, wayward fruitcake without a brain censor. She's NOT a good actress, but she's a human being, and it sounds like she drowns in one mess after another, poor thing.
So the story on this film is, her role was originally more substantial, but when it came time to shoot the scenes out in the Hamptons (where Bud delivers papers for the Geiko Geko to sign at night), she so annoyed Stone on the set that he just cut the rest of her dialogue and sent her home.
I'm interested in what, if anything, Stone had to say in hindsight. Does he still hold a grudge?
