Why 'prince', why 'marriage', how does Druidia's government work..??

Yeah, yeah, GREAT movie and all that, I still laugh every time I watch it, they're all geniuses and the atmosphere is uplifting, inspiring and completely sublime.

However.. Lone Starr is a crook and should be behind bars!

There are many things about the ending that make NO sense.

How can he be a prince, when we're in space? I mean, 'prince' makes sort of sense when you are on the same planet, sharing relatively similar values and people(s), but why would a prince of another planet have any kind of value on Druidia? Also, how do you even become a prince?

In these movies, 'princes' and 'princesses' are talked about if they're just some kind of things that are written in stone, and no more need be talked about them. However, a kingdom is always based on OPPRESSION. There can't be "EQUALITY" at ther same time as there's a "KING".

You don't even vote for kings, so the people are always 'ruled' unfairly, unjustly, unlawfully and completely arbitrarily by some 'dude' who just thinks they're better because they're supposedly 'blue-blooded'. This makes no sense of course, but even 'president' is said to have been created so people, stupid as they are, would have something that resembles a 'king'.

We can take 'princess Leia' for an example; how is she a princess, when her kingdom exploded to little bits together with the whole planet that granted her that particular title with duties and powers that (unfairly and exploitatively) go with it?

What does her 'princessdom' MEAN in practical terms, real world and in another planet? It's like I declare myself a princess of my apartment, but what value does that have in someone else's apartment? The jurisdiction of a princess does not stretch from a planet to another, so why would Vespa have to marry a prince anyway? Why would she even have to marry anyone? What does marriage even mean in interplanetary terms?

There are SO many different interpretations as to what 'marriage' is even on THIS one planet, and in other planets it's usually just an informal announcement of an existing relationship, it doesn't CREATE a relationship in any way, and government is not part of it.

What kind of government is that kingdom anyway, I mean... how does a King govern a WHOLE FRIGGIN' PLANET, and how did a fat slob with a weak voice reach that undoubtedly very coveted position?

If you look at history of kings, you don't find many fat, weak slobs as 'benevolent kings' that weren't murdered or didn't become insane or something like that. Kings are usually ruthless megalomaniacs that want power, wealth and luxurious life that peasants can't afford.

Movies like this seem to point to peasants as the typically worthless masses that don't have a say on anything that goes on in their world or country. Does Druidia even have countries?

Where are the druids, by the way, and why can't they help against the evil imperious forces of Spaceballs?
