Dangerous Filmmaking

Did you guys remember that shot where Ricky was shooting at the car that was driving at him and it rolled over and crashed? If you check the shot frame by frame, the car totally misses him by inches! The hell!? It's crazy to think that whoever that was almost got killed. According to IMDB, no one ever got paid to make this movie. I'd never do that crap for free.

I thought the same thing when I watched it the first time. That was a very close call.

Haha, as soon as I got to that scene I came here to see if anyone else was shocked by it. If you want to see more oh-crap-almost-killed-the-stuntman car scenes, you should check out "Born to Fight", where a guy's head almost gets crushed by tires.

There's a few, but I assume it's the one with Cynthia Rothrock - Shi jie da shai (1989). Speaking of Rothrock, has anyone seen Undefeatable? I can't find it anywhere, but it looks promising...

Yep, I just saw that and immediately came to see if anyone had the backstory behind that. I mean that was RIDICULOUSLY close and I was hoping that was just a mannequin.

Bud, I worked on this movie, my first. We were paid, just not union wages.
Best.

I just saw this and my God. I'm not joking when i say that this is one of the most insane unintentional stunts caught on film. Right up there with the motorcyclist doing a few flips and breaking his leg in The Road Warrior.

that stuntman retired then and there

reply

That was a real close one.
