He had Sex with his Aunt!!!!

Does anyone find this disgusting?

Not related by blood means it's all fine. Marriage is a transitory thing, but who your blood relatives are is forever.

Yeah I did find it a bit disturbing. Even though they were not blood related it was a bit disturbing. It didn't sit well in a sort of family film. I know in the US it is PG 13 but that is still a bit too strong for this type of movie.

In the UK it is a PG. What with this and the composing the couple in the other room romping and the couple doing it on the photocopier!!!!

I don't get you people. It happen often in real life, more then you think, it's no big deal if it's wanted by both.

the Big problem should be the fact that he was sexually abused and even assaulted. He never wanted this, she came very strong and never quit. What if it was an uncle and his young niece in the exact same situation?

reply

It's bad lol you can tell first of all he was disturbed and thats why he didn't do it again.

I've done an aunt and a cousin.

I thought everyone has.

If they were blood related, it would be disgusting. If its only by marriage, aside form being immoral there is nothing wrong with it.

reply

Not blood related and HE DID NOT KNOW at the time - so NO!

He did do it again, even tho he knew she was his aunt. Theres a bit where hes tryin to sleep when the couple are at it next door. The door knocks and its her, she ses she "heard him calling her telepathically" and rushed over. The next scene, she is standing getting dressed and he is in the bed, which would suggest they've just did it.

They're NOT blood relatives so there is absolutely nothing illegal about it. Disturbing maybe, illegal not a chance.

ummm, she was hot as hell. ready willing and very ready. I sure as hell would jump at that.

Besides who has not had a crush on a member of their family? before or after they knew they were related (either by blood or marriage)?

reply

Jeez, there was no blood DNA connection. It is no different than screwing your brothers girlfriend (or wife), yes its tacky and downright wrong, but not because of any "incest" vibe.

reply

Doesn't matter, had sex.

reply

Why the hell are so many people getting into a pissing match over this topic? Seriously...it's a movie...and it's not even the biggest part of the movie...People have different opinions...what's wrong with that? There is no need to act all childish and over defensive about a part of a movie...

Listen to Momma Foster's explanation of "Uncle Howard's" link to the Kansas Fosters - they are "cousins" more by inference than fact - meaning nothing derogatory to any one, this is a "county" way of reckoning kin; and then remember that this is "Uncle Howard's Wife". That "Boss' Wife" issue was riskier - but they didn't know that until after the fact.
And it's fiction, not a biography!
I had a major crush on my stepfather's brother's daughter when I was growing up and no one seemed to be offended or distraught at my "intrest" in my "cousin", not even her or or parents. It just didn't go anywhere. I also had three sets of Grandparents; with my dad an only child, I still had three Uncles and Aunts through my stepfather...

Everyone here keeps talking about Vera being his aunt. She was not! Brantley's mother said that her cousin married a man who was the nephew of a woman who was the half-sister of Howard. The point is Howard was not even Brantley's uncle, so his wife Vera wasn't anymore his aunt then she is mine or yours. I think all you people really need to relax.
