Am I the only one that likes this movie?

I saw this flick on one of the movie channels not too long ago, and I really enjoyed it. It's probably one of the better horror spoofs I've seen. I just really enjoy the campiness and lighthearted feel. The late 80's was full of horror comedies and I wonder if RTHH was one of the catalysts of that trend. For instance the movie Sexbomb rips off alot of ideas from this movie.

For the most part, I liked it too. Some of the scenes and the ending were a bit weak, but the moron chasing the bottle on the string, like a two-year-old or a dog, had me rolling on the floor!

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I thought it was a very clever and witty deconstruction of basic slasher film cliches that was done with a certain wickedly knowing sensibility.

I loved the movie. It was so much better than the majority of the horror spoofs that have come out in the last ten years or so. LOL.

I found it to be nice late-night brain candy. The best part was... hey that's George Clooney (oops he died)... hey that's Marcia Brady (What's up with her opening her shirt constantly with blood smearing and her hair getting messier and messier?)... hey that's Tommy from Alice (oops the fan got him)... hey that's that guy that plays the token Italian in a lot of stuff (not sure how he died)... hey that's Corky Sherwood... oops, not Faith Ford somebody else.

You know the sound that Goofy makes when he falls? That's my quote.

You are definitely not alone. I'm a huge horror movie fan. I'll pop it in the dvd player 1-2 times a year. A lot of people hate it for some reason but imo it has a great story, great atmosphere, and that great 80's camp feel to it.

In the Czech Republic too we love Pork...You ever had our Sausages?

I remember seeing a young George in a horror film years and years ago and dont know which one it was, this could be the one. I was thinking to myself years ago i saw a horror with George in it, i wonder what it was called i remember it being quite good and id like to see it again.

I cant remember anything about the film at all other than George was at highscool or something and in a canteen and there are monsters about that noboyd knows about.

I loved it a horror movie about making a horror movie is really metaslasher. I loved how you didnt know what was the movie, what was real, what was a flashback or what was a dream. I loved it and think the 3.9 rating it has on here is way off.

I think this film is awesome!

you are not the only one. I really don't know how it received a 4.1 rating - it deserves a higher rating than that. I was pleasantly surprised when i watched it. I think maybe people take this film too seriously. One of the best B-horror movies i've seen!

Yes.

No, I love this movie too. I ownnit on DVD :)

This movie was awful. It tried to be something between Naked Gun and This is Spinal Tap, but completely failed. It wasn't funny, had too much boring filler and made no sense whatsoever.
