Is the house in Planes Trains And Automobiles the exact same house featured in Home Alone?

When I have watched Planes Trains And Automobiles I noticed that in the end the house that Neal lives in is the same house that was featured in Home Alone and I'm wondering if that house was used for several Chris Columbus movies and so i'm wondering if they remodeled that house to use it for Home Alone?

They look similar, but are not. The Home Alone house is bigger. The P,T,&A house is at the end of a T intersection.

No, it is not the same house however from what I understand it was in the same neighborhood.

I thought it was the same house but I guess it's not.
