What were your initial opinions of Del Griffith?

I initially thought he was annoying and a blabbermouth and I initially didn't care much for Del because I was so busy feeling sorry for Neal having to be bumped from first class to coach and his flight getting cancelled, during the motel scene when Neal goes off on Del I immediately start feeling sorry for Del and realized Neal needed to be more tolerant and accepting towards others.

I like Del. My wife likes Del. My friends like Del. You wanna judge me, go ahead, im a easy target.

He’s so desperate for companionship that he tries too hard and comes across as obnoxious

Now as an adult I grew to really like Del and wish more people were as kind & friendly as him.

It seems most people were friendly to him aside from Neal initially.

I sometimes wonder if Neal had any friends outside of work.

I think that’s why he took the job, so he could travel the country and make as many friends as possible, that’s why he acts so nice but again comes across too strong sometimes

Seems like a nice guy but needs to chill out a little bit.

I grew up with a few people like Del: talking all the time, not easy on the eyes to begin with, annoying habits.
