The third costume she wear during Do you dream of me song is fantastic. Look at those shoes and the moves, wow! Both Cattrall and McCarthy have great presence during the movie.

Very hot. she has good features in the film, cut class cheekbones, killer bod, and a fun attitude.
I watched this movie for the first time in like 18 years and was surprised how similar Kim looks to how she looks on Sex in the City. If she's had "work" done it's darn good not to unnatural.

Well, she was in her prime in this timeframe. I have always considered the average woman to be in her prime (looks-wise, between the ages of 30 to 34, and Kim was 31 when this was released.)

Other films she did in the late 80s she is also quite pretty, but this one may have been her best in that regard.

Same feeling, ok looking for sure, but this role she was very attractive.
Recent pics of Carol Davis, who in this movie, wasn`t exactly knockout quality imo, has become "Amazing Looking"... This movie has such a haunting & beautiful
musical score, so memorable! So many 80`s films are in my heart forever, 1985 was a "Great Year" especially... Randy

I have never found her to be attractive but in this movie she was gorgeous! And very sexy as opposed to her character from Sex and the City.

Does anyone else agree?

I think the reasons she looked so beautiful in this film were:

1) Superb make-up
2) Hairstyles and hair color that really suited her face
3) The character of 'Emmy' was very happy - and we got to see Kim Cattrall's beautiful smile throughout the film. She did have a great smile, which 'transformed' her face IMO.

I've checked out other clips of her in films - from the same era - like Big Trouble In Little China (1986) and Masquerade (1988). IMO she didn't look as good as she did in Mannequin (1987)- it's a little bizarre, but I guess that's the 'power of make-up'. (Although in 'Big Trouble In Little China' - she had to wear green contact lenses, which made her look weird).

Great job by the make-up artists and stylists on the Mannequin set. They made sure we got to see Kim Cattrall looking like a princess.

She was a real babe in this film.
