All time greatest movie quote

Jaws: The Revenge is one of those movies that is a guilty pleasure for me. This movie is so horribly bad, it makes it entertaining to watch! My favorite part of this movie has to be the quotes. If you look at the quotes section of this film you will see this world famous quote:

Shark: Roar!

That's right.....let it sink in for a second. They listed the mechanical sharks roar as an actual quote! This makes me soil my pants with laughter every time I see it!

1987 was a fantastic year for movies in my life, and this one was at the top of my list. Stupid story line, sub par acting, cheesy quotes, and a mechanical serial killer shark! A perfect combination for a good time in my opinion :)

I wonder what he was trying to say.

He was saying "Phone my agent and get me out of this turd of a film!" And rightly so because he never worked again.

Not all of the movie is horribly bad. There are many good aspects to it, it's just that there are too many bad aspects, and the final twenty minutes is pretty *beep*

I thought the acting was good from most, as was the cinematography, some of the underwater moments, the first 15 minutes, and the music.

Had the animatronic shark been a bit more convincing, and had the final twenty minutes been good, I think people would have liked this much more.

Honestly, they could have kept the story tight around the family in the Bahamas and some sort of breakthrough Michael and Jake were about to figure out with seashells or something, but their spot was attracted to this shark. Michael knows about sharks from his upbringing back in Amity, which would tie it into the previous films. The chemistry of the family and between the friends was great, and the Bahamas setting was nice. They could have rewrote the role Caine took to one where whe as a more fun Quint-type that owned a boat, and they all went after the thing. Sure it would have been similar to the first Jaws but it would have been different enough to be it's own story.

He sounded like King Kong.

I never new sharks could make noise like that.

Shark: Roar!

Sharks do not possess vocal cords. Also, how is it Ellen can hear it from underwater when she is on the beach miles away? We are left to figure it out on our own since this film never explains it.

 That's right! You're about to be killed by a zamboni! ⛄

It's just an uncritical/fantasy suggestion of a psychic connection between killer sharks and the Brody family. Just as the shark knows where Ellen is, so too Ellen senses the shark's nearby presence.
