I think it's a different shark entirely at the start

I think it's not the same shark throughout the movie that killed Shaun at the beginning. Sharks wouldn't swim all the way from Amity to the Bahamas. It never tells us and I know there's a lot of bash about the plot that it's the same shark, but idt so. Just another shark in the ocean that's terrorising the Brody's & trying to kill people.

Yeah it's definitely possible it's a different shark but even if so that would only make this movie slightly less ridiculous lol.

Anything is possible. Didn't Jake say the shark being there was rare because of the water temperature though? I'm thinking now however that it would have to be a much different white pointer. Brody blew up the original with a compressed air tank and a rifle cartridge. He electrocuted the second one in Jaws 2. Mike Brody blew up the one in Jaws 3-D. So it is a different but related shark in Revenge. Or at least that is what I am going with.

A shark also can't stand on it's tail and roar, yet that still happened!

They show the shark in the ocean coming to follow Ellen and Mike down to the Bahamas. It's pretty obvious it's the same shark throughout the entirety of the film.

I haven’t seen this movie but I’m curious. Did they take some kind of boat to the Bahamas? Otherwise if they flew, how could a shark follow them?

the shark wore a disguise on the plane. they wouldnt have noticed him.

Pause the film in the right places and you can see him there - watching at the carnival, the old sunglasses and a newspaper ensemble at the casino. He knew what he was doing.
