absolutely, completely, fundamentally underrated
I know it's been said but it's true, I couldn't believe this films low rating.
What a great, funny, heartwarming flick. Lightweight? Maybe. Good Movie? Bloody Oath!

A pathetic excuse for a movie.

It doesn't take much to entertain some people. The biggest waste of film reel I've seen in a long time. Bruce Willis should buy the rights to this movie and burn it.. he has already said it was at the top of his regrets. Kim Bassinger? What do you expect.. now we know why her career died.
shareI agree. It's completely laugh-free. One of the worst movies ever made.
shareI just saw it, its definitely no good. Im surprised the scores so high actually. It wasn't funny at all.
shareI absolutely love this film, and I can't believe it's rated so low! The type of humour is really unique and seems funnier than films today where the jokes are all just a variation on the same themes. I now want to check out some of Blake Edwards' other films after watching this. I think the film does start to lose momentum around 3/4s through after the court scene-- the first hour is absolutely hilarious, and I guess it's just hard to top... but overall, I will say this film is amazing. The restaurant scene gets me every time.

Is 'troll' American for 'touché'?
This is a well-acted and very funny movie. I'm not sure if I would call it one of the best comedies ever made, but it's certainly funnier than most comedies from today.
Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
