Hi all,

I guess I get the first post on this new message board. :-) I just started watching the show, and I have a question.

In season 3, when Purcell and Ruiz are set to go back home, they're saying their goodbyes and Percell says to Doc Hock, "You're a good man, but you don't belong here. Go home."

My question is: Doc can't just 'go home', can he? Isn't he there for a year just like any other soldier? Or can he opt out of the rest of his tour for some reason? Or is Percell telling him not to re-up at the end of his tour?

Pretty late to the party, a year later, but I just found this board. Doc is signed up for a year tour, just like the others. He can't just choose to go home. He would need orders.

You'd have to get Jim to do a "SELECT COUNT(ID) from tbl_posts" on his database

Without having access to that table, using some quick math, I'd say there have been at least 15286 posts since then.
