The Crow had to have ripped this off
Sorry, I can get past the similar premises but Skank and Gutterboy while The Crow has Skank and Funboy? It is blatant

Although the crow came from a comic , I dont know when that was made , or if those characters were in it .
"1989
The Crow is a supernatural superhero comic book series created by James O'Barr revolving around the titular character of the same name. The series, which was originally created by O'Barr as a means of dealing with the death of his fiancée at the hands of a drunk driver, was first published by Caliber Comics in 1989."
Hell yes the comic totally ripped off The Wraith. It's a joke too when you look at the average IMDB scores for both movies: The Wraith 5.9, The Crow 7.5!
I mean, I like Brandon Lee too, but The Wraith is the far superior and more original film. And for all the raves The Crow received about the Trent Reznor produced soundtrack, The Wraith has a soundtrack of 80's metal for the ages, it's one of the strongest soundtracks for a film ever made. It's up there with Conan The Barbarian and Heavy Metal for top tier soundtracks. The Crow was just contemporary industrial which was a complete fad at the time, and the movie itself appealed to the teenage goth counter culture of the narrow mid 1990s window from which it sprang.
