Barq's and This Is Not Your Father's Root Beer which has alcohol are great. Mugs is too sweet.

My friend from England had never had it, so I made her a float with IBC and Breyer's vanilla ice cream. She loved it.

It is made from the sassafras tree. I think it is very nostalgic for older people ... I buy it for my Mom (87 years old). I was never a fan, but root beer floats used to be very popular too. You would add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
