I really want Solarbabies to be released. For the past few years, this movie has disappeared from TV and I want my own copy!
I know I'm not alone in my opinion.

I found it last summer on Amazon, only on VHS. I couldn't find it on DVD. I'm gald I got it though, It used to be one of my favorites when I was young. When I watched it again, it was still great, though a little more cheesy than I remember. Although I guess you'll have that as you get older.
totally shocked to see only 3 threads and 625 votes for this movie...apprently not very many people have heard of it...and it's not that bad of a movie or anything so I dont get it......
shareI have been trying to find out what this film was called for years! I remember staying up late curled up on the sofa to watch this once when I was little and absolutely loved it. All I could remember was the orb called Bodi and the rollerskates, everytime I searched for it Rollerball came up. How annoying. I too would love to see this again and would definately buy it on DVD.

I hated Rollerball for so long cause everytime i looked that film popped up.
I keep checking online to see if its been released but still nothing! there are such crappy movies that keep getting out on DVD but not this one thats awesome! what gives? i would definitely buy it if the movie studios could just get on the ball & give it to us! }:->
shareYou are definitely not alone, Kate. I am always double checking to see if Solarbabies has been released on dvd....it has to happen someday, right? There are far worse movies available.

I've just been having a look on ebay and someone is selling a DVD of Solarbabies, it may be transferred from VHS.
shareI just bought the DVD from ebay, and yes, it's transferred from VHS. It's poor quality, but not that much different then the first time I watched it (recorded on VHS from TV!)
