I shudder at the thought of this movie being remade, but if they did I do think Evan Rachel Wood would be a great pick. I know they couldn't find anyone to pull off WOW's character Charlie, but imo Pink would probably do a decent job as Charlie. I can't think of anyone to play Edna's part. It would be hard to duplicate that evil laugh of hers lol.

Evan is an interesting choice, but she might be getting too old by the time a remake is done, assuming we want a young actress like there was in the original. I vote for Dakota Fanning. Dakota is now 16 and seems to have taken a liking to more adult roles recently, ex: Hounddog and The Runaways.

I can think of this actress to play Edna, if you saw the Movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and you remember the professor Delores Umbridge, her character was almost like Edna, just magical, and she looks the part too, or even Rosanne Barr.
