Taylor didn't even offer them a ride at the end of the movie WTF? Just leaves a traumatized family in an abandoned neighborhood. LOL

Taylor conned Stephen Into giving him his car. He probably wasn’t sure if Stephen actually accepted his spirituality, of if he was just riding the high of returning from the other side. He probably wanted to get out of there before he came to his senses.

I guess they needed a goofy ending with them chasing after the car.

I'm sure he stopped to pick them up later. He was just toying with them.
