I'm sure you could get the VHS for it still. It was not that bad of a movie. I saw it a few years ago for the first time and the geek from Sixteen Candles and Breakfeast Club with a gun is kind of funny but the movie still wasant that bad.

I wonder when they are going to release this movie on DVD. I really liked this flick. Does anyone have any info?

Thanks

reply

I liked it, too. Plus, Siouxsie & the Banshees had a scene in it, so I must have it.

Hell, if they can put "Roller Boogie" out on DVD, they can put this movie out. ;D

I'm sure there's lot more than two of us who'll buy the DVD :)
At least half of Siouxsie & The Banshees fans would pay to see silver screen debut of their favorites :)

I still keeping 'ol Laserdisc version, great picture and sound quality for its time, but man, I wish I had it on widescreen DVD!

Anybody knows Sony Pictures Home Entertainment "suggest the title" e-mail?

reply

itr was available from sony dvd about 7 years ago in australia, didnt last long at all

reply

Wow!
Was it widescreen or pan&scan version?

reply

It was pan and scan, wich i thought was odd for soney to release, it came with the trailer, pretty bad release

reply

Thanks for the info, mate!
I was unable to find any specs for this release.

I think I'll stick to my old 1986 laserdisc :)

reply

i think it would be better quality

reply

I would buy this movie .
If it came out on DVD too.
I loved this movie ever since I rented it from the video store.
Back in 1987 when it first came out.
The movie shoul be brought to disc with a updated transfer.
I've emailed Sony pictures numeros times/but they don't seem to care.

I would buy a DVD of this movie.

i actually bought a cheap copy on VHS on ebay. and it converted to dvd-r.. I doubt this movie will ever see dvd..

reply

It may not ever make it to DVD, but that's a shame. I'd love a blu-ray, but I'll gladly take a DVD if that ever happens. I know it's not a great movie, but there's just something about it that's still a guilty pleasure of mine.
