Kumiko's hair bothers me!

I can't watch this much longer. I want to get my scissors out and give her a haircut or at least a hair tie. Ugh!!!

I've been to Japan multiple times and have never seen an unkempt hairdo (outside of Harajuku).

I love the tea ceremony where she takes off the hair tie her hair is beautiful.

... After Whineielle insulted her culture with his lame "joke".

Mercifully, the Sea rose up and interrupted his attempt to befoul the delicate beauty with his Food Lion Macaroni and Cheese-encrusted tongue.

Sadly, the villagers had to suffer due to his vile lust.

reply

Hey, he LOOOOVES macaroni and cheese!

reply

Haha, I have to agree with you on that one. She is a beautiful girl, but the hair isn't very flattering. I guess it's better than a mullet, though. :)

reply

Sorry. I befuddled it.

If you lived through the 1980s, you would probably have had a hairdo like that.

Seeing she's Okinawan, she'd probably say something like, "Big deal. I don't want to be like those Japanese hussies".

I take your point, but I liked her hair.🐭

Okinawa is not in Japan. Your comparison is invalid.

This movie is from the 80's plus her hair was really long. Look at some of Elaine's hairstyles in the older episodes of Seinfield. Some of her hairstyles were similar to Kumiko's.

Okinawa IS in Japan.

She probably had hairy pits and pubes too. Kumiko was awesome.

I've never been to Japan, so I don't know how people normally wear their hair over there (lots of rhyming...), but they definitely took the 'casual' look too far with Kumiko's hair. Looks like they did her hair, then rubbed her head and sent her onto the set...
