It was released on August 1, 1986 so I believe they filmed it around January-April of 1986 so it was still cold outside.

You could say the same thing about a lot of them. Even the end of Part 2 has most of the trees leafless in the final chase between Jason and Ginny. And both Ginny and Paul wear long sleeves and jeans. In Part 3, Chris and Rick are both wearing long sleeved shirts all the way through. In part 4 both Tommy's mom and sister wear long sleeves and pants. And all of Part 7 looks more like it's in the fall and a lot of the characters are wearing long sleeves and pants. So yeah. A great majority of them do look like they take place in the fall.

I think Part 2 was filmed in the fall/winter 1980 because it was released April 30, 1981.
Part 3 was definitely filmed in the winter because it was released August 13, 1982. But, this was filmed in California so it was warmer over there during winter.
Part 4 was also released April 13, 1984 so that was probably fall/winter of 1983 too.

Part 1 was filmed in September/October 1979 but it wasn't released until May 9, 1980. That's why Pamela's headstone in the 4th movie says she died in 1979. They made a mistake and used the year they filmed it instead of the year it was released. Funny stuff.
