I really hated the remake and thought it was dull and boring.

1. The Final Chapter - It has my favorite cast including my favorite Jason (Ted White), and in my opinion, the best collection of awesomely brutal kills and most effective overall bleakness.
2. Part 6 - Kicks ass from beginning to end and I quite enjoy the humorous aspects of this film.
3. Part 2 - It's among the least gory Fridays but it makes up for it by being in my opinion the most genuinely scary of them all.
4. Part 7 - Solid entry despite a few annoying characters and an ending that I hate.
5. Part 1 - Almost none of the sequels come close to this film's level of suspense and creepiness not to mention gore galore.
6. Part 3 - Terrible acting, laughably poor special effects, and the pacing lags in places but when this one gets in gear it really kicks ass.
7. Part 5 - My favorite thing about this heavily flawed film are Tommy's freakouts, and the hilariously over the top dialogue from characters like Ethel, Reggie, and the mayor.
8. Part 8 - I think this movie is crap but it is an occasional guilty pleasure.
