But I daydream about the cast for a potential one. For some reason Adam Driver as Brundle, Karen Gillian as Veronica, and Michael Fassbender as Borans keep coming to mind.

If they do remake this, they should take a queue from it and not repeat the exact same story. That's the problem with a lot of remakes. They're the same but just updated.

The Fly completely changed the bulk of the story, even the transformation wasn't the same.

The Thing was more of a retelling of the short story than it was a remake of the Thing From Another World.

They can remake it, just don't copy it. New story, new characters.

It WAS a remake of an old 1957 classic.

That was David Hedison's head. Vincent Price dropped the rock on them.

Sorry. I saw that as a young kid. All these years I thought Price was the human headed fly thing. Learn something new every day.

It was actually the other guy who threw the rock (the Inspector or whatever and not Vincent) but you're right, The Fly itself was David Hedison.

Yes it was the detective that smashed the spider and the fly with a rock. You'll remeber it was vincent prices voice that declares "She's no more a murderer then you are".

I know. Cronenberg's film is a classic. But I'm sure they will at some point. And as usual, it'll be another terrible remake. Hollywood doesn't make classics anymore. All they care about is money.

1986 Fly remade 1958 Fly well but there isn't a good reason to remake 1986 Fly.
