Why does ferris have the British flag on his door?

At the time, the Union Jack was synonymous with the punk scene, so that's the most likely reason why FB has it on his door. UK flag="I'm down with punk."

Filipinos, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans will wear British flag designs on their shirts, bags, etc bec it's part of pop culture now due to the British invasion of the 60s.
