After the rescue all the hostages are in the rear cabin and the Delta Force guys are in the front where Pete dies. After they land the hostages exit from the front passenger door while Chuck and the guys carry Pete off using the rear passenger door. Were they really going fly all the way back to the US with Pete's body? Also where did the cold Buds come from? The rescue mission was in doubt until Chuck cleared the runway yet there was a full blown welcome celebration with a band no less waiting back in Israel which must have took hours to put together. A real bummer if they had to announce a failure.

Well, you mean the men hostages. The women and children were released earlier. As to them taking Pete's body, yes, he was going to be buried in the US with military honors, of course. As to the beers, they were probably in the plane to begin with. Nobody had a chance to order drinks because the plane was hijacked right away after takeoff so they were just sitting in there. And as to the celebration in Israel, they got the news that the hostages were all safe and coming home in a few hours, so they set up for it. The landing there is a few hours later, I'm sure.

The last flight back in the jet would have taken longer than the quick edits we saw in the film.
