I guess what you meant was "is that film any good?". Fair enough.

I liked it. That was years ago, but it was a character movie, not really a special effects movie.

Worth it for William Hurt and Marlee Martin's Oscar winning performance. It's one of those Award season films that isn't by any means top tier outside of it's performances. But you won't waste 2hrs of time watching it. 7.2 is about right for it's rating. Be warned, it's very 80's more so then most 80's films.
