shareFavorite line: This is a .50 caliber. They used to use it to hunt buffalo, up close. It's only legal in two states. This isn't one of them.
Favorite scene: Knife + Candy + Drunken assholes = Punctured Tire.
Sam: I feel kind of bad, beating up on a superior alien being.
Max: So what?

lot of great scenes one i can think of off the top of my head is when candy is in traffic and those kids in the onster truck are all making fun of him and he pulls out a switchblade and stabs their tire. haha!
sharewhen they are sent to work at the toxic waste place and they take over for the other 2 guards
candy: "aw geeze, how long have you been working here?"
guard: "every day for the past 3 weeks"
lol i love how they look like total crap, missing teeth and whatnot...

I agree, and as a former security guard .. I can't stop laughing when I watch this movie.

I enjoyed when they confront Bruno at the fitness club, and John Candy grunts as he asks him the questions. A good one-liner was when they were leaving the club, and the employees confront them, and John Candy tells them he's already leaving, because there aren't enough attractive women there. He had such an irreverant on-screen wit. I had this movie on tape when I was a child in the 80s, and I remember watching it over and over again. I liked the theme song, as well.
shareCowboy Driver: Slim, I ain't never seen a handgun that big before.
Frank Dooley: Yeah, it's a 50 caliber. They used to use it to hunt buffalo with. Up close! It's only legal in two states. This isn't one of them.
anybody know where to get a sound clip of the guy saying "take that you scumbag!" ?
share"Shut up and sign the ****in' form!"
A buddy of mine and I used to say that to each other if one of us got too concerned with little things, or asked too many questions.
I still say that!..haha
"Shut up and sign the ****in' form!"

Dooley: "Thanks, Tex!"
Truck Driver: "Anytime! It's been a hoot, Slim!"
Kane: "I think his problem falls under a social umbrella type..."
Judge: "Shut up"
Judge: "You are without a doubt the worst lawyer I've ever seen."
"Say somebody lie to ya, If you know they lie'n, can you shoot em?"
"Depends. Use your own judgement."
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! "You won't lie to me no more!"

The best part, John Candy's voice inflection made it so much funnier than written here:
I used to be able to read lips:share"Hello, Mike, I hear you lost your penis." "Oh, yes. Yes, I did. Have you seen it?" "Yes, I believe I saw it with the cocktail wieners." "Oh, thank you very much. I better go look in the kitchen then."Or, words to that effect.

I second the "shut up and sign the *beep* form". Also: "pay attention fat boy" and "now go relieve the day shiff".
"Man-O-War started rattlin' yesterday and threw a kid on its head".
The Pinkus and McCarthy scene, lol
"can we get peepee to get us some more margaritas?"
"That's 'Peppy'... and yea, one sec."
Mine is when Dooley and Kane show up for work at the warehouse and Bruno is like ''Do you think you can handle that?'' and Dooley goes, in a hilarious voice and makes an even more priceless face, mocking Bruno ''Uh duh I think so duh''
I laughed so hard at that part and still do each time I see it. John Candy is a legend. He was so good for random one liners and such.
