Favourite line(s) or part in movie? - Armed and Dangerous (1986) Discussion

Favorite line: This is a .50 caliber. They used to use it to hunt buffalo, up close. It's only legal in two states. This isn't one of them.

Favorite scene: Knife + Candy + Drunken assholes = Punctured Tire.

Sam: I feel kind of bad, beating up on a superior alien being.
Max: So what?

lot of great scenes one i can think of off the top of my head is when candy is in traffic and those kids in the onster truck are all making fun of him and he pulls out a switchblade and stabs their tire. haha!

when they are sent to work at the toxic waste place and they take over for the other 2 guards

candy: "aw geeze, how long have you been working here?"
guard: "every day for the past 3 weeks"

I agree, and as a former security guard .. I can't stop laughing when I watch this movie.

As far as favorite scenes in this movie? .. they are all great!.. so I can't choose just one ..haha

I enjoyed when they confront Bruno at the fitness club, and John Candy grunts as he asks him the questions. A good one-liner was when they were leaving the club, and the employees confront them, and John Candy tells them he's already leaving, because there aren't enough attractive women there. He had such an irreverant on-screen wit. I had this movie on tape when I was a child in the 80s, and I remember watching it over and over again. I liked the theme song, as well.

That is one of the greatest lines in movie history, I swear to god! That court scene is too much! and when Levy says, "this case falls under a sociological...umbrella!" Priceless!

And the scene at the fancy dinner party when the Blonde who's with Levy says to him real loud, "Gee, I didn't know this party was gonna be so formal....If I knew it was this formal, I would have worn underwear!" Oh god I laugh out loud just thinking about these scenes!

The best part, John Candy's voice inflection made it so much funnier than written here:

I used to be able to read lips:
"Hello, Mike, I hear you lost your penis." "Oh, yes. Yes, I did. Have you seen it?" "Yes, I believe I saw it with the cocktail wieners." "Oh, thank you very much. I better go look in the kitchen then."
Or, words to that effect.
