who cried, come on admit it!


Hi all wehn i saw this film as a cute 7 year old, i cried my heart out and even now in my twenties, everytime i see it i sob my little heart out, there is something mo magical about this film, oh and when i was 8 and my sister 10 we entered a butlins children song competition with somewhere out there and won...just wanted to share the moment

I never cried at movies when I was a kid.
It wasn't until I was in high school that I started getting weepy at films.

I think it's poetic justice...I used to make fun of my mom when she'd cry at movies, and now I do it! :P

It is hard not to cry in Don Bluth movies.

In addition to the scenes we have already mentioned, as a Jewish man, I shed a tear at the opening scene of the movie, when the family celebrate Hanukkah. It was such sweet and small moment.

The orphan scene was heartbreaking, the poor mouse tried not to car and be brave but fell apart. Many Jewish children lost the family during the war, it's more sad when you takes into account the context.

This is a very old post and you are obviously not in your twenties anymore lol. Do you still cry watching this film?
