Abbey grange Deleted Scene?

I saw an episode on TV, & I was fairly sure it was the Abbey Grange, where the ending scene was Holmes sitting on the lawn with Mary Fraser and Captain Crocker happy in their new life. However watching again on Blue ray, that scene is not there. Has it been deleted, or more likely, am I thinking of a different episode? I distinctly remember it being one of those cases where Holmes takes justice into his own hands. I felt sure it was this one & can't think of any other which fit the bill which I have not recently watched on my box set.

Thanks

Hi Holmes (2)

No, we leave “The Abbey Grange” where Captain Crocker is found not guilty by the Watson jury and Holmes acquits him. We don’t know how their lives turned out afterwards, though I’m sure they lived happily ever after.

I wonder whether the scene you are referring to is the conclusion of “The Dying Detective”, which does feature Holmes and Watson (with Mrs Savage and her daughter) on the lawn of a fine country home. This is episode 2 of the first season of “The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes.” Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, and apolgies for my belated one. I am going to check my disc tonight. You are most likely correct, and what a funny thing memory is if that is so, as in the dying detective, Holmes plays by the book. That episode is probably the second best of the final series, after the cardboard box. Highly ironic title of course since it was literally true for Brett. Surprised I would remember that scene with fondness with his dreadful appearance in memoirs.
