Favorite Lawyer Tie between Julie, Charlene, and Michelle.
Least Favorite character period is Cliff. Why they replaced Conrad with that imbecile is beyond my comprehension.

Conrad left the show to be on Walker, Texas Ranger. Also probably had to do with them moving the show to North Carolina for filming when they switched from NBC to ABC.

Least Fav comic relief: Cliff's father (he was great on his 1st episode, and ruined the show when he became a regular w/ Cliff several years later)
Favorite Asst. Lawyer: Michelle, but Charlene gets definite points for looks. Cassie deserves mention as well as young assistant.
Least Favorite Asst. Lawyer: None. All HOT in their own ways.

Favorite Comic Relief: Les Calhoun
Least Favorite Comic Relief: None -- I consider Les to be the only true comedy relief of the series.

My favorite sidekick for Matlock has to be Tyler. Tyler was comic relief for me also.
My least favorite is definitely Cliff. When I turn to an episode and I see only Cliff and not Conrad also, I turn to something else. Cliff wasn't funny and he wasn't friends with Matlock. Matter of fact, Ben seemed irritated when he was around.
Conrad McMasters and Leanne MacIntyre were my favorites.
Tyler Hudson and Jerri Stone were my least favorites. (I'd also include Billy Lewis, if he counts as a sidekick. He was incredibly annoying!)
