I'm pretty sure I did, but it was a long time ago, and I have watched and enjoyed it so many times since then (usually at Christmas, on TV) that I forget!

Saw it in the theaters twice - such a wonderful sense of adventure! This has got to be my all-time favorite! My only wish? That they had gone ahead and done a sequel - I remember hearing rumors of that.

I saw this on a flight to London in 1987. I love this film, and have never forgotten it. I'm watching it on TV right now. It isn't on often. It's only the third time I've seen it.

I could be a morning person if morning happened at noon.

Absolutely! 

I also saw it at least once in the theatre.

AND, I also am TOTALLY perplexed that sequels were never made. What the hell...???!

I now have over 7000 films; many of them very rare and OOP. I LOVE to trade. PLEASE ASK! 

Saw it while in college, but only because it was during a time when I saw every movie that came town because it was one where I went in having seen zero ads for it. I don't think they did a lot of marketing for the movie compared to a lot of other movies. If I wasn't a slacker college student addicted to movies I probably never would have even heard of it. Was probably one of the better movies I saw that year. Was probably a bit too dark for kids given the other types of movies at the time were your Goonies... but biggest thing going against it was the release date because if I recall it was early December so it missed the chance to be a Thanksgiving weekend release and then was too early for it to draw on the Christmas crowd.... Kind of seemed like it was destined to be a orphan film from the start.

I saw it my freshman year of college, near home so it was probably winter break. I thought it was excellent!
