An undiscovered masterpiece
This film is and always has been an undiscovered masterpiece.
Shame, time for it to be rediscovered.

Pretty good - 7.5
"She let me go."

The car chase scene was a MASTERPIECE! And it was done with REAL cars on a REAL interstate, not with pussy CGI crap!
The rest of the movie, not so much. It's very dated, has some really hokey dialog, and is very predictable in places. See my post above.
Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, and / or doesn't.
Undiscovered? It wasn't a huge hit, but it was reasonably popular in its day. Ignorant millennials and zoomers not knowing means jack shit.
Masterpiece? I mean, it's good. I just enjoyed re-watching it for the first time since I saw it on VHS in 1986.
Great Fucking Movie! Holds up even in 2023.
shareterrible movie TO ME.
Saw it once at release, and after it was done, I recall it be so down and depressing, I will never watch it again.
Everyone is different, and allowed to like different things in movies.
It's not some major classic that everyone has seen but it's got a good rating (7.3) on IMDb and an okay vote count (42k) for a mid-80s movie.
Slightly undiscovered but not massively.
A movie like After Dark, My Sweet (1990) (6.5 with 4.4k votes) is a better example of an undiscovered movie.
