shareNo I prefer back to the future 2, this films ok I watch it if it's on tv, good soundtrack I like the end song, couldn't name it tho.
share'Back to the Future II' removed some of the fun of the original, but the film is elevated to a masterpiece when compared to this turd! *
shareBTTF2 is a master piece...of CRAP.
shareCare to elaborate McFly ? *
shareBTTF2 didn't get Crispin Glover or the Jennifer actress back, they got lookalikes. Michael J Fox playing his daughter was bizarre and creepy. Most of the movie is lazy scenes of Marty watching himself in the first movie. Marty being triggered by being called "chicken" felt forced and contrived.
shareSome valid points there Guitar King!
Yes, the absence of Glover was definitely a loss, & the scenes with his character were obviously truncated for this reason, the Jennifer change was also abit jarring. I get what you mean about the 'lazy scenes' - but because they had written a contrived plot, they were kinda necessary, but I agree, it wasn't executed particulary well, and I think that's where the main issue with the film is really, the script got abit bogged down with the mechanics & forgot about the 'wonder' & the 'fun' of the first movie!
Both II & III pale in comparison to the original.
As for 'Teen Wolf' - it's still a turd for me, & vastly inferior to any of the 'Future' movies. *
That's on Crispin Glover, he didn't want to be in the movie. As for Jennifer, I preferred her original actress but Elisabeth Shue wasn't the absolute worst casting choice they could have made under the circumstances, from memory it was because the original Jennifer's grandmother had cancer or was ill. Watching himself in parts from the first movie is a little contrived, but I think it was still fun. I think the chicken thing was definitely contrived, they needed Marty to have some kind of growth. Most of this movie seems like it was made so that the third could happen, and I still really love the third. The second movie might not be the most amazing film ever made, but I vastly prefer it over Teen Wolf. If it weren't for Michael J. Fox, there would be literally nothing redeemable about this film.
shareOutside of Back to the Future my favorite Michael J. Fox movies are Teen Wolf & Doc Hollywood.
