the first thing that got to me was the common movie title, i read that everywhere except in the movie its simply titled "santa claus" as on screen "santa claus: the movie". i like how all posts on this board occurs in december. burgess meredith gets really big credit for his tiny part and john lithgow doesn't show up until an hour in!, also the north pole seem to have worked out the girl germ problem its hardly a female in the movie, at first i liked how lithgow and meredith were suppose to star in the movie, they also were joined in "twilight zone: the movie" a couple of years earlier with meredith as narrator and lithgow was amazing in a remake of a classic twilight zone episode, which was later made into a twilight zone radio drama with a rather abrupt inconclusive end. notice how little dialogue this movie has, seems like it mostly shows off the expensive production, funny how this movie contradicts with the plot, when the mcdonald sign suddenly appeared it was like the scene change to a different movie, and hilarious product placement when the coke bottle is left outside the door, that's the christmas spirit, then you see the kid enjoying the coke bottle it was like watching a commercial.
