Two movies from two iconic and beloved franchises that are far from cinematic masterpieces but have gone on to become fan favorites. Some other similarities between the two: -Equally cheesy and memorable lines (ex. “You underestimate my power!” and “If he dies, he dies.” -Both are among the darkest in their series, with Apollo’s death in R4 and the Jedi Purge in ROTS. -Both revolved around some sort of war, either a literal one like the Clone Wars or the ideological Cold War -Both have an epic final fight that have the older and more experienced combatant overcoming the younger and stronger one.share
