Some of the worst acting I have ever seen
Im sure if this was released nowadays - well i dont even think it would make it for release. Really really terrible acting from all. So bad that they make JCVD look like a decent actor haha

shareI remember rewatching this in 2005 at a friends house around 3am on a Saturday morning after a party was winding down. Anyway I was in my first year of college with my mind occupied generally with serious social topics and issues. About halfway into this movie I was completely mesmerizing by how surreal the acting was. It was like watching aliens in a far away land where completely different norms of behavior applied. Part of it was the 80's period but I think this movie is just one of those anomalies which is completely surreal in a wonderful way.
shareSomeone once asked me what kind of movie I would qualify as a guilty pleasure..."No retreat, no surrender" came to mind! The acting is hypnotically bad. Not as laughably bad as "Troll 2"...but there's something amusing about how the actors react and overact in the flick.
share"Jason don't do this"
shareSeriously? I thought Ball On A String and Blocking Dummy pretty much carried the movie. I can't believe they retired afterwards.
(Little known trivia: Blocking Dummy had a role in Dune (1984) but was replaced with CGI and never got credit)

Bro , who cares about the acting?? this films is about some nice and good old school fights ;) its all that matters... And by the way , the song from the end, is a classic :D
shareThere is something surreal and extraterrestrial about the acting in this film. The way the characters express themselves and interact with each other is so weird, you can clearly see that they only cared about the Bruceploitation aspect of the film. Seriously, you can replace the whole cheesy 80's synth soundtrack with 1950's stock music, and this film would pretty much become a feature-length Ren and Stimpy special in live action.
shareInteresting thoughts.
