I heard a few years back that they were trying to get a director's cut of this film out. Apparently, a longer version was much more serious, and deleted most of the juvinile dateing scenes, focussing more on the boys and the school. I think it was a darker film. I have never heard anything since. Man, would I love to see that. Anyone else ever heard of this?
shareis there a possibility that this had an extended ending where I thought i rmemebered like a future shot where a guy is caught by a cop, who is the guy who cut off the head, and therefore the kid can then glue the head back onto the statue, backwards....

I downloaded a version of this movie that is 3hours and 27 minutes, about double the length of the original. I have the original as well but have not watched either yet, so I can't comment on differences yet. But there is definitely a much longer version that exists.
